A comprehensive hearing assessment gives a clear picture of how your hearing is functioning. We test across a range of frequencies to map your hearing thresholds and assess how well you process speech, not just how loud sounds need to be for you to hear them.
Hearing Care
Play audiometry or pure tone audiometry will be used to assess your child’s hearing thresholds. Tympanometry will also be used to check for any middle ear issues.

Assessments are provided in-clinic to ensure that they are performed in our sound-treated rooms. Employees must not have been exposed to noise for at least 16 hours prior to their assessment. Please contact Lakes Audiology directly if you would like to discuss scheduling your appointments outside clinic times (e.g. prior to 9am) to minimise workplace interruptions.

Hearing Care
We provide a range of custom-made earplugs to suit swimming, sleeping, and noisy environments to suit your needs.
Off-the-shelf earplugs are better than nothing, but custom-moulded plugs offer a precise fit, better protection, and far greater comfort for regular use. We take impressions of your ears and have the plugs made to order.
